My Research Page!

Always under construction!

Essentially, my research interests are physics beyond the standard model, specifically the applications of extra dimensions. My specific research so far has focused on codimension-2 branes. I've written three papers on the subject, including the very first examples of exact black holes on three-branes, including the Schwarzschild and rotating cases. Performing a Lorentz boost on these black holes gives exact gravitational shockwaves, which allow one to solve Einstein's equations exactly. Finally, we also looked at the brane-induced, or DGP, braneworld scenarios where the extra dimensions are infinite. We found that these theories really include a landscape of solutions, and behave like a scalar-tensor theory.

Besides codimension-2 branes, my interests also include general black holes, and modified theories of gravity. I also have a deep interest in Cosmology, specifically cosmological inflation, which I plan to develop further soon.
